Ash Wednesday -

March 5, 2025

Wednesdays during Lent we share a soup supper at 6:00 p.m., followed by worship service at 7:00 p.m.

This is a time to prayerfully reflect and draw closer to God. The forty days leading up to Christ's Easter resurrection prepare us to celebrate this gift for our salvation.

Easter week

Palm Sunday begins the week with Jesus entering Jerusalem, on a donkey, greeted by crowds crying, "Hosanna in the highest! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord".

On Maundy Thursday Jesus celebrated the Passover meal with his disciples and commanded them to, "...love one another: just as I have loved you, and you are also to love another". We share communion at 11:30 this day.

On Good Friday Christ was crucified. On a Roman cross he died for all our sins. This would be the saddest day in human history if that was the end of the story. We remember his suffering and death at a 7:00 p.m. service.

Easter morn we joyfully celebrate Christ's resurrection from the grave at three services: 6:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., and 11:00 a.m.

He is risen! He is risen indeed!
