Pastor

JOE BEAL

Pastor Joe came to know Christ as a teen. He loves to help others make that critical connection. His ministry takes him out into the neighborhood, giving solace to the struggling and grieving, engaging with the children and letting them know they are perfectly made in the image of God -- with a dear friend in Jesus. For breaks, Joe loves to get out in our beautiful Pacific Northwest, hiking the mountains, or visiting the Pacific beaches with his wife, Cindy.

Office Administrator

Cindy Beal

Cindy Beal is Pastor’s right hand. Her cheerful attitude is always evident as she manages the administrative duties of the church. Cindy ensures that everything runs smoothly at the church. We don't know what we would do without her.

With Joe, she raised two sons who are married and living in Washington State. Each has a son, so Cindy relishes her new role as grandma!

Worship Director

Ben Martin

Ben is an amazingly gifted musician, playing keyboard and saxophone. He studied jazz under Cassio at PLU and now teaches band at Capital High. He is a founding member of the Rainier Quartet as well.

Ben assumed the role of Worship Director at CSLC in 2023, where he leads the Contemporary 11:00 Sunday service.

It is a real treat when Ben joins Cassio to play at special events.
