our staff

Christ the Servant is blessed with dedicated staff, visionary leaders, and wonderful volunteers.  Meet some of them below.

Pastor

JOE beal

Pastor Joe came to know Christ as a teen.   He loves to help others make that critical connection.   His ministry takes him out into the neighborhood, giving solace to the struggling and grieving, engaging with the children and letting them know they are perfectly made in the image of God -- with a dear friend in Jesus.   For breaks, Joe loves to get out in our beautiful Pacific Northwest, hiking the mountains,  or visiting the Pacific beaches with his wife, Cindy.

Office administrator

cindy beal

Cindy Beal is Pastor’s right hand.    Her cheerful attitude is always evident as she manages the Administrative duties of the church.

With Joe, she raised two sons who are married and living in Washington State.

musician extraordinaire

Cassio Vianna

Cassio Vianna came to us from Brazil via Pacific Lutheran University.   He is the Director of Jazz Studies at PLU and brings his expertise and skill to our Sunday morning worship, enthusing the music with gusto and Brazilian flair.

Cassio has won multiple awards for his compositions.  He makes his home in Parkland with his wife, Bethany, and three (!) young sons.   He is a very busy man.
