We at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church celebrate Pentecost and the Confirmation of young people on June 5 this year.

What is Pentecost?  After Jesus ascended to Heaven, the Holy Spirit descended on the apostles and gave them the ability to speak in many languages.  This allowed them to go and spread the good news of Jesus's life, resurrection, and the hope of the life to come.

What is Confirmation?  After a period of study and prayer, young adults may choose to confirm their faith officially.   They publicly announce their intention to serve God and take on increased responsibility as a saved Christian.
